Golfing enthusiasts in The Woodlands are especially fortunate, as there are many scenic 18-hole courses in town. Some of the best clubs with world-class golfing include The Player at the Woodlands Country Club, The Club at Carlton Woods, Willow Creek Golf Club, and The Woodlands Country Club.
Wine enthusiasts enjoy a variety of events throughout the year, including the iconic Wednesday Wine-Down. This 45-minute class is completely free with reservations at Back Table Kitchen & Bar and provides a tasting experience as well as education about the different types of wine offered inside the restaurant. Hundreds of various wines and cuisine pairings are brought to the heart of The Woodlands at Wine and Food Week, a festival held every June that attracts a swath of celebrities, visitors, and locals to the area. 
 
Downtown is transformed into an outdoor art gallery at The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival each spring. Unique pieces crafted by artists from around the world line the streets, and visitors can enjoy high-quality fare, live music, and kids’ activities as they shop for art. 
 
Throughout the year, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion hosts theater productions and concerts in a cool outdoor venue under the stars.
